Each staff member is a licensed professional with well over 60 years of combined experience to get you back to where you want to be as quickly and safely as possible.

 

Harry Nafpliotis PhD PT

Director of Physical Therapy Center of Teaneck PA (PTC)

 

Born in Greece, Harry, at the age of 16, came to America with his parents to pursue an academic career.  Although critically injured in Greece from an explosion that kept him in a cast from his neck to his ankles for one year, he played major league soccer in America.  He was eventually awarded several collegiate soccer scholarships.  In 1960, he was chosen All Star of the North and was, subsequently, the highest scorer of the games which took place in St Petersburg, Florida.  Harry received his BS in Physical Therapy from Ithaca's Albert Einstein Institute of Physical Therapy.  He received his master's degree cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  He has been in private practice  and the director of PTC for over 30 years pursuing different concepts of treatment and establishing methods of application.  He continues to participate in soccer as a coach, trainer, and player.

Harry has published numerous articles in trade journals as well the book Soccer Injuries:  A Physical Therapy View in Care and Prevention. (1981, Vantage Press) and invented a patented biomechanical suit.

 

Francisco (Teddy) Fernan Jr PT

Physical Therapist

 

Teddy has a BS in Physical Therapy from Cebu Doctors' College.  He has been with Harry for over 15 years.  Past professional experiences include working at The Valley Hospital  in Ridgewood and Mt Laurel Nursing Rehabilitation Center.  Committed to providing you with the best possible care.

 

JoAnne Genita PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

 

JoAnne holds an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy and has been working at the PTC for over five years.  She is ready and willing to get you back to 100%.'

 

Gloria Zubow BS

Administrator


Gloria holds a degree in physical education. She has been with the PTC since its inception. She is the person to speak to when it comes to paying your bill or making arrangements.  Though rarely seen, her presence is always felt.

 

Renee Nafpliotis-Kresker BS

Administrative Assistant

Renee graduated with a psychology degree from Georgetown University. She has the dubious honor of submitting the medical bills to the insurance companies.  She is also jack-of-all-trades; when something needs to be done, she does it. Please speak with Renee about participation with insurances.

 

At any time we may also be privileged to teach physical therapy students from a variety of colleges and universities.  They bring to us innovative ideas and a fresh outlook on the profession.
